This sculptural installation is a memorial of 52 years after the declaration of martial law in the Philippines visualized through an assembly of 52 people with empty torsos, it presents the hallow hearts and grieving sould of families victimized by extra-judicial killings and political disappearances. As the installation grows by one figure each year, Imao locates freedom through "remembering the disappeared, memorializing absense".
