ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Ana Patricia Non, also known as Patreng, is a visual artist, food security advocate, community organizer, and Program Officer at the University of the Philippines. Her practice explores the ties between people, land, and shared struggles, weaving personal experiences with broader social issues. She is also a mountaineer and biker, drawing inspiration from nature and everyday life to ground her work in themes of care, justice, and community. Her contributions to art and advocacy have been recognized through several awards, including Filipino of the Year 2021 by the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Outstanding Women in Nation’s Service (TOWNS) Award, the US Embassy’s Ambassador’s Woman of Courage Award, and the Asia CEO InLife Young Shero of the Year Award.
Kahlo Imao is a Digital Artist and Illustrator based in Quezon City whose creativity started from a very early age. This eventually led her to pursue Bachelor of Fine Arts - Visual Communication in the University of the Philippines, Diliman. Inspired by the stories she grew up with in comics and cartoons, she hopes to be able to create meaningful narratives with her own art as an illustrator and storyteller. Most of her personal works feature themes of identity and self, drawn in fantastical and whimsical styles.
Michelle Alde is a Filipino contemporary visual artist specializing in oil painting. She studied Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Unveiling her fascination with the movement and texture of fabric, she creates her pieces with meticulous intricacy while maintaining freedom in her brushstrokes. Her work often explores themes of identity and memory, incorporating the fluid interactions between the fabric, figures, and objects in her works. Alongside her artistic practice, Alde teaches art workshops to aspiring visual artists. Alde’s work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions at contemporary art galleries in the Philippines.
